A colleague from my company asked me to join her to see a motivational/activational speaker by the name of Eric Bailey.  I remember saying to her that I was a little tired of the same motivational speeches and that I really wasn’t that interested.  She finally convinced me and I’m so glad that she did.  Eric was a breath of fresh air in the motivational speaking world.  The particular workshop I attended was dedicated to professional development – how to move forward in life with a different attitude – an attitude that enables you to riseabove the crowd, meet challenges head on and be passionate in everything you do. I am a young, black Zimbabwean lady and as a result I experienced a lot of discrimination and racism at the school I was teaching at. During the week before the conference, I had decided to quit the teaching profession, however, I still had to attend the conference as the school had booked and paid for it in previous months. Your talk helped to rekindle the love and passion I had for teaching children which was the very last ingredient I needed after all the other good practical lectures I'd had throughout the weekend, for where there is no love, there is nothing.  I have been teaching now with that passion and love for over a year. I was so impressed with his enthusiasm, elocution and passion that we decided to meet and discuss what programs Eric could put in place to benefit and motivate both managers and  staff within our company. We occupied a 5,000 sq m purpose built facility and had 350 staff.  We are a leading telecommunications infrastructure company based at Murarrie in Brisbane and have always looked at ways of keeping our staff motivated and positive, both of which we think are a substantial  benefit to the employer as well as the employee. Eric visiting our facilities on a number of occasions to familiarise himself with the staff and find out what they thought they could be beneficial to them.  Eric used his basketball abilities and knowledge, to provide a fun, and sometimes challenging course of events which all staff, including management were involved in.  A great deal of fun was had during these exercises, but it was generally felt that a happier and more proactive team of people eventuated.

We would have no problem in using Eric in the future and would commend his services to other businesses who wish to enhance the team strengths within their own companies.

It was a privilege to listen to you. You engaged the whole audience from the beginning until the very end. Your words were so powerful, yet simple, therefore anyone could translate them into their private/work lives.
